Singer Güllü’s daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter responded through her lawyer to allegations concerning her practices at the hospital where she previously worked as a nurse. Gülter argued that the footage of her dancing halay in the intensive care unit was shot about two years ago in an area where there were no patients.
Gülter, who alleged that her ex-fiancé Kervan Eminoğlu obtained the footage from her iCloud account, used the statements, “Has it only now occurred to him to hand them over? He’s nursing a grudge. I feel sorry for him.”
DENIED ALLEGATION THAT SHE INJECTED PATIENTS In Eminoğlu’s criminal complaint, it was alleged that Gülter injected patients at night to make them sleep, that the times of death of some patients were changed, and that cleaning staff were taught how to perform CPR on patients. Rejecting these allegations, Gülter argued that the medicine cabinets were locked and that nurses did not have the authority to write death reports.
Gülter said, “It is impossible for me to change times of death. On every night shift, a supervisor monitors us every hour, and we nurses do not have the authority to write exitus reports.”
Kervan Eminoğlu - Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter “I USED TO BRAID THE OLDER WOMEN’S HAIR” Gülter, stating that she cared for patients receiving treatment in the intensive care unit, recounted that she brought them headscarves and prayer beads, shaved some patients, and braided female patients’ hair.
Gülter, noting that she was pleased with the investigation launched by the Yalova Provincial Health Directorate, used the statements, “My heart and soul are very much at ease. By doing these, they can never tarnish my profession either.” The judicial and administrative investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
