Making critical statements about the political agenda, Tekin emphasized that they could form alliances with all political parties except the People's Alliance, and said he believed that those who left the CHP would return to the party.

Tekin, who criticized the Presidential Government System and the current administration approach, drew attention to the need for Turkey's governance system to change, saying: "We are in a position to form alliances with all political parties except the People's Alliance. The reason for this is the 50%+1 system imposed on Turkey. We will of course have differences and disagreements on changing this system. However, an alliance can be made with all political parties regarding democracy and the manifestation of the nation's will in the upcoming period. Our specific request from the People's Alliance is the change of the system currently implemented."

Gursel Tekin, who argued that the balance of power between the legislative and executive bodies has been disrupted, reiterated his call for a return to the parliamentary system. Tekin noted the following in his speech: "Unfortunately, there are serious problems in Turkey regarding legislation and execution. If the legislative body, which should be at the top in many democratic countries of the world, acts on the instruction of the executive, then democracy cannot be mentioned. Therefore, we think the parliamentary system would be healthier. We invite all political parties that say 'We are also in the parliamentary system' to come together under the roof of the Republican People's Party."

Also touching upon the political figures who left the CHP and intra-party divisions, Tekin stated that he expects those who left to return, making the following assessment: "After all, we have some friends who have left us. I cannot understand why they left. The reason for this separation is not Kilicdaroglu or us. Unfortunately, it is a situation arising from the negativity experienced within the party. I say this by noting that this is not just a wish; I believe that most of our friends who left will return to their father's home again."
