Halloween was celebrated in Saudi Arabia with events held at various locations, especially in the capital Riyadh. Horror-themed costumes, special makeup, and entertainment programs created colorful scenes. Halloween, celebrated on October 31 in many countries around the world, was also welcomed in Saudi Arabia this year with various events.
Restaurants, hotels, and entertainment centers in the capital Riyadh organized special Halloween programs. While horror-themed decorations and costume contests stood out at some venues, musical entertainment and special shows were held at others.
Participants added color to the events with costumes inspired by horror movies and fantasy characters.
HORROR ROOMS AND COSTUME CONTESTS WERE ORGANIZED
Halloween events were held at the Gravity entertainment center in Riyadh. The program included horror rooms, face painting activities, live shows, and costume contests.
Some hotels and restaurants in the capital also prepared special organizations for the night of October 31. While a Joker-themed entertainment program was held at Chotto Matte restaurant, an event for costumed participants was held at KOI restaurant. Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, meanwhile, prepared a Halloween-themed dining program for families and children.
SPECIAL EVENTS WERE ALSO HELD FOR CHILDREN
The celebrations were not limited to organizations for adults only. In Riyadh, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and costume activities were organized for children. At some entertainment centers, contests and games were held in which children could participate by dressing up as different characters.
Venues specially prepared for Halloween hosted celebrations with programs for participants of different age groups.

In Saudi Arabia, one of the important centers of the Islamic world, events for Halloween, which is identified with Western culture, drew attention.
