"WE WILL NOT LAY DOWN OUR ARMS"
Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi, in a statement regarding the negotiations in Cairo, said, "This time we will demand guarantees that the war will come to an end. The occupier may return to war after a partial agreement, but it cannot do so with a comprehensive agreement and international guarantees," he stated.
Usama Hamdan, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau, also stated earlier today, "Any proposal that does not include a comprehensive and permanent end to the war will not be accepted. As long as the occupation continues, we will not lay down our arms." - CAIRO
