Hande Yener brought her STAR Gene project, which she had been preparing for about a year, to life in Amsterdam. The famous artist put up for sale the second-hand costumes she used on stage and in her music videos over the years, along with special design pieces.
Hande Yener opened the doors of her STAR Gene project, which she had been preparing for a long time, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The creative living space, which has started serving on Herenstraat, welcomes its visitors with its gallery concept and its special area in the backyard.
SHE PUT HER STAGE COSTUMES UP FOR SALE AS SECOND-HAND
In the project, Hande Yener's second-hand costumes used on stage and in her music videos over the years, special design pieces, haute couture collections, her glasses, bags, shoes, and one-of-a-kind designs were offered for sale under the same roof for the first time.
Those who purchase these pieces, which carry traces of the artist's stage history, are greeted by a signed letter personally written by Hande Yener for that specific product. Additionally, works by painter Ekin Akış and sculptures by Merve Öztemel are also exhibited at STAR Gene.

Stating that she worked with a large team during the preparation process that lasted about a year, Hande Yener said she was closely involved in all stages, from the concept to the product selections.
Yener said, "Music continues to be at the center of my life, but I have another passion that has been nourishing me for years; fashion, design, and creating. STAR Gene was a project I had been dreaming of for a long time. We prepared with a large team for about a year. We didn't want this place to be just a place for shopping. We aimed to create a living space where people would find inspiration, discover, and encounter a new story every time they visit."
