The imam who ascended the pulpit for Friday prayers did not remain indifferent to the congregation talking among themselves and dealing with their mobile phones while the sermon was being read. Noticing that no one was listening to him, the imam cut the sermon short and warned the congregation by saying, "If you continue like this, I will say alhamdulillah and come down."

An imam delivering the Friday sermon in a mosque interrupted his speech and issued a stern warning as the congregation chatted among themselves and dealt with their phones. The imam's unusual outburst from the pulpit quickly became a trending topic on social media.

"I WILL SAY ALHAMDULILLAH AND COME DOWN"

Angered by the congregation's failure to pay attention during the sermon and the continued talking, the imam addressed the congregation through the microphone with the following words:

"If you talk, I will not read the sermon. If you continue, I will not read the sermon; I will say 'Alhamdulillah' and come down."

THOSE MOMENTS WERE ALSO CAPTURED ON A MOBILE PHONE

After the imam's warning, a brief silence fell over the mosque, and those moments were captured on a citizen's mobile phone camera. The footage shared on social media quickly sparked a broad debate about sermon etiquette and the congregation's behavior inside the mosque.
