After completing her vacation in Italy, 33-year-old Thai woman Beaut Pimpaporn, who returned to her country on a flight to Bangkok via Dubai, experienced a nightmare. The unfortunate woman claimed that while her 4-year-old daughter slept in her lap, she was sexually assaulted by a Pakistani passenger in the adjacent seat, and she reported the incident to the police after the plane landed. Acting on the report, authorities removed the suspect from the aircraft and took him into custody.

Beaut Pimpaporn, a 33-year-old Thai woman returning from her holiday in Italy, has alleged that a fellow passenger sexually assaulted her while she slept with her 4-year-old daughter on a passenger flight from Dubai to Bangkok. Following the incident, police launched an investigation, and the 30-year-old suspect, identified as Pakistani national Raza Ali, was taken into custody.

FEARFUL MOMENTS WHILE RETURNING TO HER COUNTRY

Beaut Pimpaporn, 33, who set off to return to her country after a holiday in Milan, Italy, claimed she experienced fearful moments on the approximately six-hour Flydubai flight to Bangkok after a stopover in Dubai. Pimpaporn, who said she fell asleep while her four-year-old daughter slept on her lap, alleged that when she woke up, she noticed a passenger sitting in the next seat was sexually assaulting her.

"WHEN I WOKE UP, I SAW HIM TOUCHING MY HIP"

Speaking to local media, Pimpaporn claimed that when she woke up, 30-year-old Pakistani national Raza Ali was engaging in a sexual act and touched her hip. The young woman also alleged that throughout the flight, Ali frequently looked at her and watched her by pretending to adjust the entertainment screen in front of his seat.

SHE FILED HER COMPLAINT AFTER THE PLANE LANDED

Pimpaporn said she did not react during the incident to avoid panic on the plane and to prevent her four-year-old daughter from being affected, and reported the situation to the cabin crew after landing in Bangkok. According to her claim, Raza Ali, who was questioned by the cabin crew, first denied the accusations, then apologized and asked for her forgiveness. Subsequently, the cabin crew reported the incident to security forces.

TAKEN OFF THE PLANE AND DETAINED

After landing in Bangkok, tourism police and immigration officers removed 30-year-old Pakistani national Raza Ali from the plane and took him to the police station. While Pimpaporn filed an official complaint, Thai police announced that an investigation had been initiated into the incident.

Officials reported that no formal charges have yet been brought against the suspect, the investigation is ongoing, and evidence is being examined.

"WOMEN SHOULD SPEAK UP"

Pimpaporn, stating that the purpose of sharing her experience with the public is to raise awareness, said that especially women traveling alone or with their children should not remain silent if they encounter similar situations.

Flydubai, in its statement, said that the safety of passengers and crew is their top priority, announced that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and therefore it would not make a detailed assessment.
