HAVELSAN announced that the Air Force Information System, developed with domestic and national means, became the most critical supporter of air elements during the EFES-2026 Exercise. Reducing operational preparation processes lasting hours to just minutes, HvBS turned into a force multiplier in air superiority and was certified by NATO as one of the world's most mature command and control systems capable of meeting the alliance's needs.
HAVELSAN announced that HvBS (Air Forces Information System), a domestic and national defense technology that adds strength to the Turkish Air Force, became the most critical supporter of operational processes during the EFES-2026 Combined, Joint Live Fire Field Exercise. HvBS, shown among the world's most advanced command and control information systems, impressed with its performance in the exercise and its success at NATO standards.
PREPARATIONS TAKING HOURS REDUCED TO MINUTES
HvBS, developed to fully integrate support for operations, intelligence, and flight training processes under the management of the Air Force, reflects speed and decision superiority—one of the greatest needs of modern warfare—onto the field. The system, offering a combination of different technologies and architectures, reduces operational preparation times, which previously took hours, to just a few minutes, providing a critical advantage in air dominance.
CERTIFIED AS ONE OF NATO'S MOST MATURE SYSTEMS
In a social media post by HAVELSAN, it was emphasized that HvBS has proven itself not only at the national level but also on the international stage. The company conveyed the system's global success with the following statements:
"HvBS was evaluated as one of the most mature systems capable of meeting the Alliance's needs following the ongoing Alternative Air Command and Control Systems technical analysis study at NATO, and it has proven itself. Covering all functional areas of the air force from battle management to resource management, HvBS is a force multiplier in achieving air dominance through its contribution to decision superiority, which modern warfare prioritizes."
With its superior and functional features, the solution has a robust infrastructure capable of meeting all potential needs of the Air Force and continues to contribute to the deterrence of the Turkish Armed Forces as one of the world's most comprehensive Command and Control Information Systems.
