In the İnegöl district of Bursa, 54-year-old Feriha Sabitoğlu, who cooked mushrooms she got from her neighbors at home and ate them, became ill after a while. The woman, who was taken to the hospital with complaints of nausea and vomiting, died despite all the doctors' interventions. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of Sabitoğlu's death.
The incident in the İnegöl district of Bursa resulted in the death of 54-year-old Feriha Sabitoğlu. Sabitoğlu, who lived on Mimar Street in Baykoca Neighborhood, cooked and consumed the mushroom she got from her neighbors at home. Noticing the woman's condition after she became ill toward morning, her family requested help from the 112 Emergency Call Center.
SHE BECAME ILL AFTER EATING THE MUSHROOM
At around 10:00 a.m., medical teams were dispatched to the home of Feriha Sabitoğlu, who was experiencing nausea and vomiting. The woman, who received initial treatment at home, was taken by ambulance to the Emergency Department of İnegöl State Hospital and placed under treatment. However, Sabitoğlu's medical condition worsened at the hospital.
SHE COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL DOCTORS' INTERVENTIONS
The 54-year-old woman, whose heart stopped during treatment, could not be saved despite all the efforts of medical teams. Following Sabitoğlu's death, an investigation was launched by the prosecutor's office. The woman's body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.

Police teams launched an investigation into Feriha Sabitoğlu's death. While there is not yet definitive information about the type of mushroom the woman consumed or whether it was poisonous, the cause of death is expected to become clear after the investigations are completed.
