According to Erdinç's statements, Neslim Güngen is trying to stay strong in prison, saying "I will not be like Dilan Polat." When she likes the meals, Güngen eats them, but when she doesn't like them, she buys food from the canteen.

Neslim Güngen supports three university students in her cell by depositing money into their accounts. When this situation became known, Güngen started to be called "hanımağa" in the cell. Güngen, who does not cause any problems for the correctional officers, sees the prison as a detox camp.

Erdinç stated that Güngen only received a phone warning from the prison administration and she wanted to use her weekly phone call right to talk to her daughter Ecrin Aydın from her first marriage. The prison administration allowed this request and took her to the audio conference room. After completing her conversation with her daughter, Güngen asked her to give the phone to the third person at home and instructed that person to sell the televisions at home.

According to Erdinç's claim, Güngen was deprived of taking a shower for a long time in prison and as a result, she became quite dirty. Güngen asked the guards for shampoo, but she learned that she only had a weekly spending limit in prison. When her request was denied, Güngen had to wash her hair with dish soap.
