VERAL HARASSMENT TURNED INTO KNIFE THREAT
The incident occurred yesterday around 21:00 on Nazım Hikmet Boulevard in Esenyurt Piri Reis Neighborhood. According to information obtained, a person allegedly drunk started hurling insults at nearby shopkeepers for an unknown reason. When a female shopkeeper in the area reacted to the situation, a verbal argument broke out between the two. As the argument escalated, the enraged suspect threatened the female shopkeeper and pulled out a knife from his pocket.
ANGRY ATTACKER TRIPPED
The drunk suspect, who lunged at the female shopkeeper with a knife, lost his balance while walking angrily. The attacker tripped, hit the ice cream cooler in front of the workplace hard, and fell to the ground. After the suspect fell, other citizens nearby quickly intervened. With the citizens' intervention, the incident calmed down before escalating further.

After security camera footage of the incident spread rapidly on social media, Esenyurt District Police Department teams took action and launched an investigation.
