Another departure has occurred within Fenerbahçe's squad restructuring. The Yellow-Navy Blues have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Egyptian center-back Omar Fayed, who joined the squad in the 2023-2024 season but never got the chance to wear the jersey in any official match, to Frosinone.
Fenerbahce reached an agreement with Frosinone for the transfer of Egyptian footballer Omar Fayed. The yellow-navy club announced in its statement that an agreement was reached with the Italian team for the permanent transfer of Fayed. Thus, the period of the Egyptian centre-back, who joined Fenerbahce at the beginning of the 2023-2024 season, with the yellow-navy team has come to an end.
DID NOT PLAY EVEN 1 MINUTE AT FENERBAHCE
Omar Fayed did not take part in any official match with the yellow-navy jersey since the 2023-2024 season when he transferred to Fenerbahce. Thus, the Egyptian centre-back left the team without playing even 1 minute in official matches after his transfer to Fenerbahce.
LOANED TO THREE DIFFERENT TEAMS
During the period when his contract with Fenerbahce continued, Fayed continued his career on loan in different countries. The Egyptian footballer played on loan for Serbia's Novi Pazar, Belgium's Beerschot, and Portugal's Arouca, respectively. Fayed, who could not appear in an official match at Fenerbahce, bid farewell to the yellow-navy club with his permanent transfer to Frosinone.
DEPARTURES CAME ONE AFTER ANOTHER AT FENERBAHCE
Before Omar Fayed's departure from Fenerbahce, the club also parted ways with Sidiki Cherif and Musaba. Thus, the yellow-navy team said goodbye to three of its footballers within a single day as part of the squad restructuring.
