26-year-old Brazilian model Elisane Silva surprised her family by reaching a height of 1.75 meters at the age of 10. Tests conducted due to the pain she felt in her bones and head revealed that she had a benign tumor in her pituitary gland, which was causing her to produce excessive growth hormone and leading to gigantism.

26-year-old model Elisane Silva, who lives in Brazil, shared the reason behind her extraordinary height and how she built a happy life with her husband, who is 40 cm shorter than her.

Elisane's height reached 1.75 meters when she turned 10. This situation shocked her family, as her mother is 1.62 meters and her father is 1.70 meters tall. Elisane felt severe pain in her bones and head. However, due to financial constraints, the necessary tests could not be conducted.

A television channel covered her treatment costs in exchange for broadcasting her story. Investigations revealed that a benign tumor was found in her pituitary gland, which caused her to secrete excessive growth hormone, leading to "gigantism."

While the diagnosis brought some relief, her school life turned into torture. Her classmates called her "giant" and "tower," constantly mocking her. Unable to withstand the psychological pressure, Elisane had to drop out of school at the age of 17.

In 2011, she met Francinaldo Da Silva Carvalho. Francinaldo, who is 1.62 meters tall, was the first person who treated Elisane like a human being without seeing her as different. Elisane said, "I fell in love with him immediately. Our height difference was never a problem; we love each other as we are."

The couple got engaged shortly after and married in 2015. Their 3-year-old son Angelo is now over 1 meter tall and draws attention. Elisane believes that her condition is not genetic and that her son will be of normal height.

She has made peace with herself and dreams of becoming a model.

After years of exclusion and shame, Elisane has now accepted her height:

"People used to look at me strangely, but now I take pride in it. Because there is no one else like me, which makes me special."

Elisane, who wants to become a professional model, is boosting her confidence through photo shoots:

"Agencies haven't discovered me yet, but through the shoots, I've learned to love myself," she says.
