REAR-ENDED A CAR WAITING AT A RED LIGHT
The accident occurred on the D-750 highway in the Pozantı district of Adana. The car with license plate 34 VT 6666, driven by Caner Ege, was waiting at a red light when it was rear-ended by a car with license plate 01 BAP 820, driven by Metehan Sargın, causing extensive damage.
24-YEAR-OLD DRIVER DIED AT THE SCENE
Upon notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The 24-year-old driver Metehan Sargın, who was trapped in his vehicle due to the impact, was extracted by fire crews. Medical checks confirmed that Sargın had died.
3 PEOPLE INJURED
In the accident, the driver of the other car, Caner Ege, along with Kemal Ege and Emre Çakmakcı, were injured. After initial treatment at the scene, the injured were taken by ambulance to 80. Yıl Pozantı State Hospital for medical care.

Metehan Sargın's body was taken to the hospital morgue after the public prosecutor's examination at the scene. Due to the accident, traffic on the D-750 highway was controlled in a single lane for a while, while police teams launched an investigation into the incident.
