A disciplinary process has been initiated against Fenerbahce General Secretary Mahmut Uslu, who reacted to referee decisions and the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) after the Genclerbirligi match played in the 1st week of the Trendyol Super League.
HIS HARSH WORDS CAME AT A COST
Mahmut Uslu, who made statements to the press after the match, argued that the team was denied two penalties and criticized the federation for rejecting their postponement requests. The Legal Counsel of the Turkish Football Federation examined Uslu's post-match statements against the referee and the TFF and sent his file to discipline. Mahmut Uslu was referred to the PFDK for "statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football" and "threats." The punishment to be imposed on the yellow-navy executive is expected to be announced in the coming days.
