Ali Sürmeli, who is etched in memory with productions such as 'Deli Yürek', 'Kurtlar Vadisi: Pusu', 'Çukur', and 'Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz', which were among the most-watched series of an era, now lives away from the city in Assos Kadırga Bay, one of the calmest regions of the North Aegean.
The master actor, who has been living a life intertwined with nature for about 41 years, states that he has achieved a spiritual balance with the order he has established here. Sürmeli says, "Everyone calls it modest, but I live in luxury. Because when I wake up in the morning, there is oxygen, there is the sound of birds. A SIMPLE LIFE ON A 13-DECIMAL PLOT
Sürmeli lives in a wooden, single-story house that he has arranged with his own hands on a 13-decare plot in Assos.
The artist, who says that there were only a few animals when he first arrived in the area, describes the tranquility of the region by saying, "When we arrived, there were only donkeys. But there is a sleep here, like sleeping in the Bingöl plateau."
He shares the story of the land in a sincere manner, saying, "I bought 6 decares for 100 thousand with the money of that time. We begged for the side, they wanted 200 for 7 decares. I bought the total of 13 decares for 300, it was a thousand dollars at that time. We said we would establish an academy, but everyone who supported us stepped aside. I planned, I said we would put 12, the goat herd scattered, and it stayed like this."
