While no news has been received for 72 days from 27-year-old Uğur Çalışkan, who went missing on February 19, 2026, in the Antakya district of Hatay, his brother Tarık Çalışkan asked for help from Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi in a video shared on his social media account. "WE ARE IN THE DARK, BE A LIGHT FOR US"

Ugur Caliskan's brother, Tarik Caliskan, made a plea for help to Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci in a video posted on social media. Caliskan said: "My brother Ugur has been missing since February 19. We have been suffering for days, with no results. Where is Ugur? Why can't we find him? Ugur's clothes were found, but he is not there. Please see this as a duty of humanity, look into it, question it. I am calling out to our esteemed Ministry of Interior from here. Please, we are in the dark. Be a light for us. We have been miserable for days. What happened to Ugur? Hear us."

"DEAR BROTHER, I AM AWARE OF THE MATTER"

Minister Ciftci responded immediately to Tarik Caliskan's post. Stating that he was aware of the matter, Ciftci noted that necessary efforts are being made. Ciftci said: "Dear brother, I am aware of the matter. Necessary efforts are being carried out under the coordination of our esteemed Governor to find your brother.

"IF NECESSARY, WE WILL DEPLOY A JASAT TEAM"

If necessary, we will assign a team from our JASAT (Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team) units, which have significant experience in finding missing persons and solving incidents. I am closely following the process. May God grant you a safe reunion."
