In Bursa, a man stabbed his mother multiple times after an argument. The woman, who went out into the street covered in blood asking for help, died at the hospital she was taken to. After the incident, the man, who also stabbed himself and went outside to headbutt the window of a commercial taxi, was taken to the hospital following police intervention.
HE STABBED HIS MOTHER MULTIPLE TIMES AND WENT OUTSIDE
The incident occurred around 04:00 in the Intizam neighborhood of the central Osmangazi district. According to information obtained, İsmail S., who is alleged to have psychological issues, argued with his mother Ayşe S. for an unknown reason. As the argument escalated, İsmail S. stabbed his mother, severely injuring her. Then, the suspect, who also stabbed himself, went outside the house.
SHE SCREAMED AND ASKED FOR HELP
Ayşe S., covered in blood, went out into the street and screamed for help from nearby citizens. Hearing the woman's cries, neighborhood residents reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
HER MOTHER PASSED AWAY
After initial medical intervention at the scene, the severely injured woman was taken to Çekirge State Hospital but could not be saved despite all doctors' efforts and passed away.
HE HEADBUTTED THE TAXI'S WINDOW
İsmail S., who injured himself after stabbing his mother, then headbutted the window of a commercial taxi parked on the street. The suspect, who also resisted police teams for a while, was subdued with difficulty. After initial intervention at the scene, İsmail S. was taken to Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital for treatment.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
