The incident occurred at night on the first floor of a 4-story building on 1. Cumhuriyet Street in the Mesudiye neighborhood. According to claims, Ferhat G. (45) set fire to a bottle filled with gasoline he had brought with him and threw it through the broken kitchen window of his ex-wife Mukaddes U.'s (43) house.
BOILER EXPLODED
The flammable material that fell inside the house quickly caused a fire, and it was learned that the natural gas boiler also exploded during the fire. The sound of the explosion and the rising flames led to moments of fear in the neighborhood.
Upon notification from nearby residents, fire brigade and police teams were dispatched to the scene. With the intervention of the fire brigade, the fire was brought under control and extinguished before spreading to nearby apartments.
SUSPECT BEING SEARCHED EVERYWHERE
No one was injured in the incident, but material damage occurred in the house. Police teams have launched an operation to capture the suspect who fled after the attack.
