In the Çivril district of Denizli, a 'Pekingese' dog was found in a trash container with its legs tied with a rope. Çetin Orhan, who discovered the dog and identified through a security camera from a house that the animal was brought to the trash bin and thrown into the container by a woman, reported the incident to the prosecutor's office.

Orhan then started to investigate the security cameras in the area. Çetin Orhan determined that the dog was thrown into the trash by a woman from the security cameras of a house near the container. It was identified that the woman brought the dog in a trash can, threw it, and then turned and left. The footage also showed the dog trying to escape from the trash container.
FILED A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT
Çetin Orhan, who adopted the dog with his wife Ceren Orhan, went to the prosecutor's office with the footage and filed a criminal complaint.
"AN INHUMANE INCIDENT"
Ceren Orhan, stating that the dog is of the 'Pekingese' breed, said, "When we first found it, it was trembling with fear. Its body was covered in dirt and thorns. We cleaned it one by one, cut its fur, and washed it. Then we took it to the veterinarian to start its treatment. It is still very scared, and we want whoever did this to be found and receive the punishment they deserve. We have made our applications to the necessary places. It is a bit difficult to understand who it is from the footage, but maybe someone will recognize them. Tying the legs of a living being and throwing it into a trash container on the day of the holiday is an inhumane act. If she wanted to give it up for adoption, someone would have adopted it," she said.
