According to information received, the incident occurred in a forested area near Aşağıkolbaşı village in the district. Lightning struck the herd of Rahmi Erkoç, who was grazing his animals in the area. As a result of the lightning strike, 36 sheep and goats were killed. Following the incident, the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry was notified, and necessary procedures were initiated.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
