The father, who was determined to be in an empty room, was caught and taken into custody in the morning hours during an operation by special operations police.
The incident began when E.D., living in Meydan Neighborhood of the central Seyhan district, filed a complaint with police alleging she had been sexually abused. Police teams took the young girl to Adana City Hospital for a physical examination.
HE CAME TO THE HOSPITAL WITH A GUN
The father, M.D. (47), who learned of the situation, came to the hospital by car, drew his gun, and wanted to kill his daughter. Police teams rescued the young girl and placed her under protection inside the hospital. The suspect father, after opening fire on the hospital windows, entered the building and lost his trail.
HE HID IN THE HOSPITAL THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT
Police teams and hospital security guards carried out work throughout the night to find the suspect. At around 07:00 in the morning, it was determined that the father was in an empty room in the hospital's neurosurgery department. The suspect was called on to surrender, but the father opened fire with a gun instead of surrendering.
HE WAS CAUGHT IN A SPECIAL OPERATIONS POLICE OPERATION
Following this, special operations police were dispatched to the scene. M.D., who was caught in the operation carried out, was taken into custody. The young girl was placed under state protection.
It was learned that police teams are continuing their work to catch the suspect who is alleged to have sexually abused the young girl.
