Ali Yiğit Buruk, the son of Okan Buruk, who is alleged to have insulted referee Oğuzhan Çakır at the end of the Kocaelispor match, has been referred to the PFDK for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) announced the PFDK referrals after the 29th week of the Trendyol Super Lig.

ALİ YİĞİT BURUK REFERRED TO PFDK

The Turkish Football Federation referred Ali Yiğit Buruk, son of Galatasaray Head Coach Okan Buruk, who is alleged to have insulted referee Oğuzhan Çakır at the end of the Kocaelispor match, to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board. Additionally, it imposed a fine of 1,460,000 TL on Galatasaray due to field incidents caused by their fans and ugly and bad chants.

The decisions taken by the PFDK are as follows:

“1- For GÖZTEPE A.Ş., in the GÖZTEPE A.Ş.-GALATASARAY A.Ş. Trendyol Super Lig Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match played on 08.04.2026, due to ugly and bad chants caused by their fans, in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, to block the electronic tickets of spectators located in block AVEC KUZEY TRIBÜN KUZEY 206 who engaged in ugly and bad chants, thereby preventing their entry to the next match where they are the home club,

2- For GALATASARAY A.Ş., in the GÖZTEPE A.Ş.-GALATASARAY A.Ş. Trendyol Super Lig Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match played on 08.04.2026, due to ugly and bad chants caused by their fans and because this action was carried out for the 12th time in a match where they were the visiting club within the same season, in accordance with Article 53/2 of the FDT, to be punished with a FINE OF 1,240,000 TL, and in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, to block the electronic tickets of spectators located in blocks MİSAFİR TRIBÜN KUZEY 209-210 MİSAFİR who engaged in ugly and bad chants, thereby preventing their entry to the next match where they are the visiting club,

In the same match, for GALATASARAY A.Ş., due to field incidents caused by their fans, in accordance with Articles 52/2 and 46/1 of the FDT, to be punished with a discretionary and consequential FINE OF 220,000 TL,

3- For GALATASARAY A.Ş. club official ALİ YİĞİT BURUK, due to his "act contrary to sportsmanship" in the same match, in accordance with Article 36 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction, it has been decided to refer him to the PFDK provisionally as of 14.04.2026.

4- For ÇAYKUR RİZESPOR A.Ş., in the ÇAYKUR RİZESPOR A.Ş.-SAMSUNSPOR A.Ş. Trendyol Super Lig Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match played on 09.04.2026, due to ugly and bad chants caused by their fans, in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, to block the electronic tickets of spectators located in block KAPALI DENİZ TRIBÜN A who engaged in ugly and bad chants, thereby preventing their entry to the next match where they are the home club,

5- For SAMSUNSPOR A.Ş., in the ÇAYKUR RİZESPOR A.Ş.-SAMSUNSPOR A.Ş. Trendyol Super Lig Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match played on 09.04.2026, due to ugly and bad chants caused by their fans, in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, to block the electronic tickets of spectators located in the MİSAFİR TRIBÜN who engaged in ugly and bad chants, thereby preventing their entry to the next match where they are the visiting club,

In the same match, for SAMSUNSPOR A.Ş. technical official THORSTEN FINK, due to his act contrary to sportsmanship involving physical intervention towards the match's 4th official, in accordance with Articles 36/5-c and 35/4 of the FDT, it has been decided to punish him with a BAN FROM ENTERING THE DRESSING ROOM AND SUBSTITUTE BENCH FOR 3 OFFICIAL MATCHES and a FINE OF 80,000 TL."
