Teams from the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department launched an investigation on April 13 following a report that a motorcycle rider was performing dangerous maneuvers in traffic on Kurtuluş Boulevard in İzmit. As a result of the investigations, the identity of the driver was determined.
CAUGHT WITHOUT A LICENSE, HELMET, OR LICENSE PLATE
The individual named B.A. was apprehended by teams from the İzmit District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau. The driver was fined a total of 175,746 TL for the offenses of driving without a license, riding a motorcycle without a helmet, performing acrobatic maneuvers in traffic, and using a vehicle without a registration plate.
MOTORCYCLE BANNED FROM TRAFFIC
As part of the procedures, the motorcycle was banned from traffic, and a judicial investigation was also initiated against the driver for the crime of "endangering traffic safety."
