Şenel Gürses, who works as a private public bus driver in Tokat, was astonished by the incident that happened to him. The 55-year-old man received 18 HGS fines from 5 cities he claimed he had never visited. Noticing the situation through e-Government, Gürses filed an objection to the fines and reported the matter to the prosecutor's office.
Şenel Gürses, a public bus driver in Tokat, was astonished to receive HGS fines issued in his name from cities he has never visited. Gürses stated that he realized the situation through notifications received via e-Government and mentioned that he received transit fines from many cities, especially Istanbul.
"A FINE WAS ISSUED FOR A VEHICLE PARKED IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE"
Şenel Gürses said, "While checking e-Government, I saw that fines were issued in my name. I have a vehicle parked at my door, and despite being a bus driver myself, I found that a fine was issued for the vehicle parked in front of my house. I have filed objections and a criminal complaint regarding all of them."
FINES CAME FROM 5 CITIES
55-year-old Gürses continued his remarks as follows: "I gave a statement to the prosecutor. Fines came from 5 cities: Adana, Mersin, Istanbul, Kırşehir, and Niğde. There are 18 fines; I was working as I was constantly driving during those dates. I was shocked when I first saw it."
