RIGHT OF WAY DISPUTE TURNS INTO ARMED FIGHT
The incident occurred around 13:30 in Kırkova Square, Kemalettin Neighborhood. An argument over 'right of way' broke out between the driver of a light commercial vehicle traveling on the street, Abdülkadir C., and the occupants of a car containing 3 people. Subsequently, as Abdülkadir C. continued on his way, the other car driver followed him. The event, which turned into a pursuit, ended with the parties stopping their vehicles on Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil Street.
INJURED BY 3 BULLETS
At this moment, Abdülkadir C., who had gotten out of his vehicle, was fired upon with a pistol from the car. Abdülkadir C. was injured by 3 bullets that hit his body and fell to the ground. The assailants fled the scene by car. Numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. The injured Abdulkadir C. was taken to Çorlu State Hospital and received treatment. Police teams initiated work to apprehend the suspects.
