Gulben Kayakus, a 27-year-old undergoing cancer treatment in the Germencik district of Aydin, has passed away.

She succumbed to the illness she contracted at a young age.

According to the information obtained, Gülben Kayakuş, the daughter of Germencik Municipality staff member Hatice Kayakuş and tradesman Ahmet Kayakuş, had been undergoing cancer treatment for some time. Kayakuş, whose health condition worsened and was taken to intensive care, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions. Kayakuş's death plunged her family and relatives into deep sorrow.

Germencik Mayor Burak Zencirci also published a condolence message on his social media account following Kayakuş's passing. In his message, Zencirci stated that he shared the pain of the Kayakuş family and wished God's mercy upon the deceased Gülben Kayakuş, and extended his condolences to her family and relatives.
