Cüneyt Ç. (52), who flew to Turkey from Morocco, located 3,000 kilometers away, went to the hospital two days later complaining of stomach pain. A CT scan revealed the presence of a foreign object in Cüneyt Ç.'s stomach and intestines. Following the hospital officials' report, the Beşiktaş Public Order Bureau teams initiated an investigation into the matter.
Cüneyt G., who flew to Turkey from approximately 3,000 kilometers away in Morocco, applied to a private hospital in Fulya two days later with complaints of abdominal pain. After the examination, a tomography was performed on Cüneyt G. Upon detecting a foreign substance in the suspect's stomach and intestines, the hospital authorities reported the situation to the police.
HASHISH CAPSULES REMOVED SURGICALLY
Following the report, the Beşiktaş Public Order Bureau teams initiated an investigation and conducted interviews with the doctors. After the doctors' assessment, Cüneyt Ç. was taken into surgery, where a total of 49 hashish capsules weighing 259.7 grams were removed from his intestines. One mobile phone belonging to the suspect was also handed over to the police by the hospital authorities.
ARRESTED AFTER DISCHARGE
After being discharged from treatment, Cüneyt Ç. was taken into custody by the police. After completing the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse. Cüneyt Ç. was arrested and sent to prison for the crime of 'trafficking in narcotic substances.' It was learned that Cüneyt G. had a previous record with the police for 'intentional injury' and 'causing injury by negligence.'
