Fatma Soydaş, who made headlines with her statement "Very good money" by announcing that she earns 1.2 million TL monthly from the paid subscription system on social media and nets 600 thousand TL after expenses, has been detained. Access to the influencer's social media accounts, against whom an investigation was launched on charges of insulting religious values, was blocked upon the request of the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
A detention warrant has been issued for Fatma Soydaş, a social media influencer known for her videos with Nihat Hatipoğlu's son, Said Hatipoğlu, and who has recently been at the center of controversies due to her social media posts. Upon the instruction of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Soydaş was detained in Istanbul, and access to her social media accounts has been blocked.
INVESTIGATION ON CHARGES OF "INSULTING RELIGIOUS VALUES"
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an ex officio investigation on the grounds that Fatma Soydaş's posts on TikTok and Instagram constitute the crime of "publicly insulting religious values adopted by a segment of the public." As part of the investigation, a detention warrant was issued for the influencer, who was taken into custody by security forces in Istanbul.
ACCESS BLOCK REQUEST CAME FROM THE MINISTRY OF FAMILY AND SOCIAL SERVICES
According to information conveyed by journalist Burak Doğan, it was learned that the request to block access to Soydaş's social media accounts was made directly by the Ministry of Family and Social Services. With the decision of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, access to the influencer's accounts has been blocked.
SHE HAD REVEALED HER MONTHLY INCOME SAYING "VERY GOOD MONEY"
Fatma Soydaş, who has recently made headlines not only for her posts but also for the income she earns from her paid subscription system, calculated her monthly earnings during a broadcast with these words: "People are subscribing for 60 liras right now. So, I currently have around 20,000 subscribers. That's an income of about 1.2 million TL. Deduct 600,000 for expenses, and 600,000 remains. Very good money."
