A royal jet allegedly belonging to the United Arab Emirates was claimed to have flown to Tehran yesterday. The same aircraft was also reported to have traveled to the Iranian capital on August 11, returning to the UAE about an hour later, while no official statement has been made regarding the purpose of the visits.

Flights allegedly made by a royal jet belonging to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Tehran have come to the fore in the Iranian press.

SAME PLANE WENT TO TEHRAN TWICE 

According to a report by the Iran-based Fars News Agency, the royal jet, stated to belong to the UAE, went to Tehran on August 12.

The report claimed that the same plane also flew to Tehran on August 11 and returned to the UAE about an hour later.

THE PLANE IS USED BY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

The said jet is claimed to be used by UAE government officials. No official statement has yet been made by UAE authorities regarding the purpose of the plane's visits to Tehran.
