High tension in Kayseri! A person of Syrian nationality was subjected to a knife attack.

The events that started with a Syrian person sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl, who is a relative of his, in Kayseri two days ago have escalated tension in the city. In the fight that broke out in the park, Syrian national Muhammed M. was stabbed in the leg by an unidentified person.

ARGUMENT TURNED INTO A STABBING FIGHT

The incident took place around 13:00 in the park on İpekten Street in the Osmanlı neighborhood of Melikgazi district. The argument between Syrian national Muhammed M. and an unidentified person turned into a fight with a knife.

POLICE ON THE HUNT FOR THE ATTACKER

In the fight, Muhammed M. was injured in the leg with a knife. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured person was taken to Kayseri State Hospital by ambulance. Police have initiated an investigation to apprehend the suspect.
