Earthquake expert Prof. Dr. Şener Üşümezsoy made statements regarding a photo taken with fugitive criminal organization leader Sedat Peker. Stating that Peker was everyone’s teacher at the place where he trained, Üşümezsoy said he met with him many times in subsequent years. Expressing that their meetings were mostly about “Turanist socialism,” Üşümezsoy argued that Sedat Peker should be congratulated.
Earthquake expert Prof. Dr. Şener Üşümezsoy made statements regarding his photograph taken together with fugitive organized crime leader Sedat Peker. Üşümezsoy, who previously said that he had been Peker's trainer, stated that the photograph was taken at a promotional reception for a website. Explaining that they had met many times in later years as well, Üşümezsoy stated that their conversations were mostly about "Turanist socialism".
HE EXPLAINED WHERE THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN
Earthquake expert Prof. Dr. Şener Üşümezsoy spoke about the photograph in which he appeared together with Sedat Peker. Providing information about the event where the photograph was taken, Üşümezsoy said, "The photograph was taken at the reception where Sedat Peker promoted the ÖZTÜRKLER website."
"SEDAT PEKER SHOULD BE CONGRATULATED"
Üşümezsoy used striking expressions in his assessment of Peker's promotion of the website in question. The famous earthquake expert said, "Sedat Peker should be congratulated. He promoted the ÖZTÜRKLER site at a time when nobody mentioned the Turkish name."
"I WAS EVERYONE'S COACH"
Also touching upon his acquaintance with Peker from the past, Üşümezsoy made statements about the period when they trained.
Üşümezsoy used the expressions, "I was the coach of everyone at the place where Sedat Peker did training and bodybuilding."
"WE TALKED ABOUT TURANIST SOCIALISM"
Stating that his relationship with Peker was not limited only to the period when they did sports, Üşümezsoy explained that they continued to meet in later years as well. Üşümezsoy said, "We talked with Sedat Peker many times in later periods as well. Our conversations were mostly about Turanist socialism."
HE HAD ALSO PREVIOUSLY SAID "I WAS SEDAT PEKER'S COACH"
Prof. Dr. Şener Üşümezsoy had also made headlines with a statement he made earlier on Berna Laçin's program. Answering Laçin's question to him, "So, does anyone threaten you?", Üşümezsoy had used the expressions, "No one threatens me. Because I have a lot of support behind me. At one time I was Sedat Peker's coach. I trained him."
Berna Laçin, unable to hide her surprise at Üşümezsoy's words, gave a humorous response, saying, "I wonder if I shouldn't ask the next question?"
With Üşümezsoy's latest statements, the details of his past acquaintance with Sedat Peker also came back to the agenda.
