Netanyahu's unsettling post one day before the election

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared an AI-generated image showing a nuclear explosion targeting Israel ahead of tomorrow's general elections. Netanyahu issued stern warnings, claiming that Iran and groups it supports could carry out attacks to sabotage the elections. As tension escalates in Israel ahead of the elections, claims have also surfaced that Netanyahu's government could launch a new military operation against Iran, Lebanon, or Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made headlines with a post on his social media account ahead of the general elections. Netanyahu, who shared an AI-generated image showing a nuclear explosion over Israel, relayed statements about the possibility of two atomic bombs falling on the central part of the country. Netanyahu also claimed that Iran could carry out attacks to sabotage the election process.

NETANYAHU SHARES NUCLEAR EXPLOSION IMAGE

Ahead of the general elections planned to be held in Israel on October 27, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's social media posts continue to attract attention.

In his latest post, Netanyahu included an image created using artificial intelligence showing a mushroom cloud rising after a nuclear explosion over Israel.

Netanyahu's post, in which he relayed the words of right-wing columnist Yuval Bloomberg, "If two atomic bombs fall on the central part of the country, who will care about these empty debates?", became a talking point ahead of the elections.

"IRAN MAY ATTACK TO SABOTAGE ELECTIONS"

In a video statement he published, Netanyahu claimed that Iran and Iran-backed groups could target the election process in Israel.

The Israeli Prime Minister, claiming that they had intelligence to this effect, said:

"We have intelligence information indicating that Iran and its proxies may try to challenge us by carrying out attacks to sabotage the election process."

Netanyahu continued his threats against Iran, stating that they would respond harshly to possible attacks.

"DO NOT DARE TO TEST US"

Addressing Iran and its allies, Netanyahu argued that Israel is prepared for possible attacks.

"Do not dare to test us; in return, you will receive much heavier blows," Netanyahu said, asserting that Israel's enemies are stronger than they think.

Netanyahu had previously claimed in a speech at the northern border of the occupied West Bank that they had received intelligence about threats of attacks against the country ahead of the elections.

DEFENSE MINISTER ALSO TARGETED IRAN

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz also claimed in a statement about two weeks ago that Iran might attempt attacks to influence the ballot results ahead of the general elections.

The successive statements by the Israeli government brought security debates in the region back onto the agenda ahead of the elections.

CLAIMS OF A NEW MILITARY OPERATION BEFORE ELECTIONS

Meanwhile, claims have been put forward in Israeli public opinion and the international press that Netanyahu's government could launch a new military operation against Iran, Lebanon, or the Gaza Strip before the elections.

It was also claimed that US President Donald Trump and Netanyahu discussed, in the first week of October, the possibility of a new attack on Iran ahead of Israel's October 27 general elections and the US congressional midterm elections to be held on November 3.

While there is no official confirmation regarding these claims, Netanyahu's sharing of a nuclear explosion image and his statements about Iran have brought the pre-election tension back onto the agenda.
