In simultaneous operations conducted yesterday across 81 provinces targeting FETÖ/PDY, legal proceedings were initiated against 973 suspects. While 704 of the suspects were detained, efforts to apprehend the remaining 269 individuals are ongoing. Among those detained are 170 active public personnel, 6 retired public personnel, 44 dismissed public personnel, and 484 private sector employees and civilian suspects.
A large-scale operation was conducted in coordination with Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices in 81 provinces to uncover the FETÖ/PDY Armed Terrorist Organization.
In simultaneous operations held on July 13, 2026, actions were taken against 973 suspects believed to be linked to FETÖ/PDY. Among the suspects, 704 were apprehended and taken into custody, while efforts to capture the 269 fugitives are ongoing.
170 ACTIVE PUBLIC PERSONNEL IN CUSTODY
It was announced that 170 of the 704 suspects in custody are active public personnel. Additionally, among the detained suspects, there are 6 retired public personnel, 44 dismissed public personnel, and 484 private sector employees and civilian suspects.
MINISTRY OF INTERIOR AND JUSTICE PERSONNEL ALSO ON THE LIST
Among the active public personnel, 97 are affiliated with the Ministry of Interior. It was reported that among them, there is 1 police chief, 1 inspector, 94 police officers, and 1 gendarmerie personnel.
It was stated that 14 personnel affiliated with the Ministry of Justice were also taken into custody, consisting of 1 court clerk, 8 prison guards, and 5 private lawyers.
