The escalating tension between the USA and Iran continues with new attacks. Four points in Iran's Bushehr city were targeted by missile strikes, while consecutive explosions occurred near Bandar Abbas. Following the tension, Iran announced it would not back down in the Strait of Hormuz, while the USA halted the evacuation of tanker aircraft in Israel.

Clashes are intensifying in the renewed tension between the US and Iran. Reports of successive attacks have come from the Iranian provinces of Bushehr and Hormozgan.

SUCCESSIVE EXPLOSIONS IN BUSHEHR

In a statement from the Bushehr Governor's Office, it was reported that four different points in the city were targeted by missiles fired by enemy elements.

Meanwhile, Iranian state media reported that five consecutive explosion sounds were heard west of the strategic Bandar Abbas port in the south of the country. Security measures were increased in the region following the attacks.

THREE PEOPLE KILLED IN US ATTACK

According to Iranian state media, three people were killed in a US airstrike on Hormozgan province.

The report stated that the attack targeted an environmental protection station and a feed depot, and that those who lost their lives were family members of a park attendant. It added that the park attendant survived the attack with injuries.

EYES ON THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

The latest attacks have further escalated tensions around the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most critical energy transit points. Following Iran's earlier targeting of two oil tankers belonging to the United Arab Emirates, oil prices saw a sharp rise, and security concerns in global markets peaked again. The continuation of mutual attacks in the region is causing increased risks regarding energy supply and global markets.

IRAN WON'T BACK DOWN IN HORMUZ

Meanwhile, the Iranian Army spokesperson stated that Iran's armed forces will not back down in the Strait of Hormuz. Mohammad Akraminia said, "The Strait of Hormuz will never be reopened through war, hostility, and US aggression." He added, "Respect for the rights of the Iranian people is the only way to reopen the Strait of Hormuz."

Akraminia also said the armed forces are "obligated to avenge the blood of the martyrs, especially the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution."

US HALTS EVACUATION OF ISRAELI TANKER AIRCRAFT

It was reported that the US has suspended the evacuation of military tanker aircraft stationed at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, due to escalating tensions with Iran.

According to a report by The Times of Israel, the US military air fleet whose evacuation process was suspended includes approximately 75 refueling and cargo aircraft that had been held at the airport for months as part of the regional buildup. In addition to the halt decision, four new US military aircraft landed on the runway during the night.

Meanwhile, Israeli officials stated that there is a serious shortage of parking space for civilian aircraft at Ben Gurion Airport and warned that if the evacuation of US military aircraft does not proceed, around 50,000 passenger tickets could be canceled during the peak travel months of July and August.

This crisis stems from the pre-war buildup that erupted on February 28 between the US-Israel alliance and Iran, which led to the complete closure of Israeli airspace. After tensions eased following a memorandum of understanding signed with the goal of lasting peace between the US and Iran, the withdrawal of some military tanker aircraft had begun at the end of June. However, with the recent crisis, this evacuation process has been completely frozen. It had been reported that the Tel Aviv and Washington administrations agreed on June 26 to accelerate the evacuation of American military aircraft deployed at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport due to attacks on Iran.
