A 15-year-old child died and 3 people were injured when a car went out of control and hit a lamppost in Nevşehir. After the tragic incident, it was revealed that the child who lost his life had set out to attend his grandmother's funeral with his family.
A heartbreaking accident occurred in the morning hours on the Nevşehir-Kayseri highway, across from the Teachers' House. According to the information obtained, the car driven by A.A. lost control after the driver lost steering control and crashed into a lighting pole in the median strip.
15-YEAR-OLD CHILD DIES, 3 PEOPLE INJURED
Upon the report of citizens who witnessed the accident, health, police, AFAD, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver, trapped inside the vehicle, was rescued by the fire department's efforts and handed over to health teams.
Four people injured in the accident were taken to Nevşehir State Hospital by ambulances. Among the injured, 15-year-old A.B.A., who was in critical condition, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life. It was learned that the other three injured individuals are continuing their treatment.
HE HAD SET OUT TO ATTEND HIS GRANDMOTHER'S FUNERAL
It was learned that the deceased A.B.A. had set out from Izmir to Kayseri with his family to attend his grandmother's funeral. Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
