In Yellowstone National Park in the USA, an angry male bison attacked a tourist, tossing them approximately 2.5 meters into the air. The seriously injured tourist was taken to the hospital, while the incident was captured second by second by professional photographer Mike MacLeod. Witnesses described the bison as "angry and attacking everything in its path," while park management reiterated warnings to visitors to maintain a safe distance from wild animals.

Terrifying moments in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA, were captured by professional photographer Mike MacLeod's camera. The footage shows an angry male bison launching successive attacks towards an area where tourists were present.

BISON ATTACKS SUDDENLY

The incident occurred on Friday evening near the park's campground. According to eyewitnesses, the bison first charged at children nearby, then targeted an elderly tourist who fled among the trees. The massive animal caught the tourist with its horns after chasing him for a while, throwing the man about 8 feet (2.5 meters) into the air. The tourist fell heavily to the ground and was seriously injured.

"HE WAS ANGRY, ATTACKING EVERYTHING IN HIS PATH"

Professional photographer Mike MacLeod, who captured the incident, stated that the bison was not behaving normally, saying, "He was angry, extremely agitated, and was attacking anything in his path." MacLeod explained that the first target was children, who managed to escape, but the elderly tourist was not as fortunate.

PANIC ENSUES IN THE CONTINUATION OF THE FOOTAGE

In the video, the bison is seen remaining in an attack stance for a while after throwing the tourist into the air. Following this, MacLeod and some nearby visitors tried to scare the animal away by shouting. After the bison left the area, medical teams arrived at the scene, and the severely injured tourist was taken to the hospital.

PARK MANAGEMENT ISSUES REPEATED WARNINGS

Yellowstone National Park management frequently reminds visitors that bison are the wild animals causing the most injuries to people in the park. Authorities emphasize that visitors should stay at least 25 yards (about 23 meters) away from all large wild animals, including bison. It is noted that bison can exhibit unpredictable behavior and can run about three times faster than humans.

The park management, drawing attention to similar incidents involving bison in Yellowstone in recent weeks, has once again warned visitors to follow wildlife regulations.
