In Adana, D.G. (43), who was living together with Khatice Cami (38) in a religious marriage, beat her with a hammer and then cut her throat with a knife. The mother of two children was seriously injured, and the fleeing suspect is being sought.
ILL-FATED WOMAN'S THROAT CUT
The incident occurred in the morning hours at a residence in the Mahfesığmaz neighborhood of Çukurova district. An argument broke out for unknown reasons between D.G., an Afghan national living in an apartment on the 4th floor, and Khatice Cami, mother of his two children. As the argument escalated, D.G. grabbed a hammer and chased Khatice Cami, who was trying to flee, to the building entrance. There, he caught and struck her on the head with the hammer, beating her as she fell to the ground. The suspect then cut Khatice Cami's throat with a knife and fled.
FUGITIVE MURDERER BEING SEARCHED EVERYWHERE
Upon notification by bystanders, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention, seriously injured Khatice Cami was transported to Adana City Training and Research Hospital. It was reported that Khatice Cami remains in critical condition under treatment.
Meanwhile, police have launched efforts to capture the fugitive D.G.
