CEBECI RELEASED ON HOUSE ARREST
A new decision has been made regarding famous broadcaster Ela Rumeysa Cebeci, who was arrested in December as part of a drug operation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Cebeci, who had been in prison for some time on charges of "facilitating drug use," has been released.
The court ruled for Cebeci's release while imposing a judicial control measure in the form of "not leaving the residence." In line with this decision, the famous broadcaster has been placed under house arrest, and her trial will continue without detention.
CANNABIS AND COCAINE FOUND IN ELA RUMEYSA CEBECI'S BLOOD
Samples taken from broadcaster Ela Rumeysa Cebeci's hair were found to contain substances including 'cannabis, synthetic drugs, cocaine, and their metabolites.' It was learned that no drug-related evidence was found in blood samples taken from Cebeci.
