In a fire that broke out in a house in Gaziantep, a 4-year-old child lost their life, while their 2-year-old sibling and mother were injured. It was learned that one of the injured is in serious condition.
A fire that broke out on the 4th floor of a building in Gaziantep resulted in the death of Yezen El Cesim (4), a Syrian national.
MOTHER AND CHILDREN TRAPPED IN FLAMES
The fire broke out in a house in the Deniz neighborhood of Şahinbey district. According to allegations, a fire that started for an unknown reason in the house quickly grew and completely engulfed the surroundings. During the fire, a Syrian mother and her 2 children who were in the house were trapped in the flames. Following a report to the 112 Emergency Call Center, numerous firefighting, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
LITTLE CHILD LOSES LIFE
While firefighting teams arriving at the scene intervened in the fire, medical teams entered the house to rescue the mother and three children, who had been brought out of the house by nearby residents, and provided first aid to the injured individuals. After on-site intervention, the injured were taken to Gaziantep University Hospital. Among the injured, 4-year-old Yezen El Cesim, whose condition was critical, could not be saved despite all medical interventions. It was learned that the condition of a 2-year-old girl among the injured was serious. The body of Yezen El Cesim, who lost his life in the fire, was taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
An investigation has been launched into the fire.
