In Ataşehir, relatives of driver İsmail Demir, who could not be reached while he was in a parked IETT bus, notified his colleagues. Demir was found motionless during a check of the bus. Health teams arriving at the scene determined that the 57-year-old driver had lost his life. While his wife suffered a nervous breakdown upon hearing the tragic news, Demir's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.
The driver Ismail Demir (57), found in a parked IETT bus in Ataşehir, was discovered dead. Upon receiving the tragic news, his wife, who came to the scene, had a nervous breakdown.
The incident occurred at the IETT platform in İnönü Mahallesi. According to claims, the wife of IETT driver Ismail Demir, who was on duty on the 16F Fındıklı-Kadıköy line, and the bus owner sought help from other drivers at the platform after being unable to reach him.
Drivers checking the parked bus found Demir motionless inside the vehicle. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
MEDICAL TEAMS CONFIRMED HIS DEATH
Medical teams, entering the bus under police supervision, determined that Ismail Demir had lost his life. Teams securing the scene informed Demir's wife. The woman had a nervous breakdown upon hearing the tragic news.
After the crime scene investigation teams completed their work, Demir's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.

IETT driver Abuzer Kaya said, "He came here after starting work in the morning. He apparently had a heart attack here. When his colleagues and the vehicle owner couldn't reach him, they called me. He had a heart condition. May God have mercy on him, he was our colleague."
