A giant wild boar that entered a building in a housing complex in Amasya caused moments of fear for neighborhood residents. Upon a report, police, fire brigade, and teams from Nature Conservation and National Parks were dispatched to the area, while extensive security measures were taken around the area. The wild boar inside the building was neutralized by police teams after being shot with a gun. Provincial Police Chief Ali Erkan Aktaşgül also followed the operation.

Upon the report, police, fire brigade, and teams from the Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks were dispatched to the address. While security precautions were taken in the surrounding area, the wild boar inside the building was neutralized after police shot it with a gun. Amasya Provincial Police Chief Ali Erkan Aktaşgül also followed the operation.

Neighborhood headman Sezai Çınarcı said, "The boar was very big, it frightened the citizens." Bekir Kurt, one of the housing complex residents, said, "They shot the boar in a police operation. We thank the police officers."
