The moment of theft was captured on security camera, while the business owner stated that the value of the stolen products was approximately 10-15 thousand TL.
The incident occurred in a clothing store located in Arnavutköy. The suspect, who came to the store with a little girl accompanying him, began browsing the clothing sections. Pretending to look at and try on the products, the suspect stacked about 10-15 items of clothing consisting of sweatshirts, T-shirts and trousers, together with their hangers, on his arm. The suspect walked out like a normal customer without paying for the clothes he had gathered. After leaving the store, the person waited in front of the door for a few minutes and then moved away from the area. The moment of theft was recorded by the store's security camera. The footage included moments when the suspect gathered the clothes with their hangers on his arm and left the store.
BUSINESS OWNER FILED A COMPLAINT
Following the security camera footage, the business owner Emre Özyürek filed a complaint against the suspect. Özyürek, who estimated that products worth approximately 10-15 thousand TL were stolen, stated that the suspect did not return to the store after the incident.
Explaining the incident, business owner Emre Özyürek said, "We have thefts in the store from time to time. Because our days are very busy, such situations can happen. Someone came and, together with the little girl with him, took the products in his hand. Normally, together with the hangers. But he gathered 10-15 hangers in his hand and went out just like this. In our estimation, there was a loss of 10-15 thousand liras. Of course, there was no shopping, it was theft. The products consisted of sweatshirts, T-shirts, trousers, bottom and top models."
HE DID HIS ENTIRE WINTER SHOPPING
Stating that the suspect left the store without showing any hurry, Özyürek said, "He filled his hand like this. He walked out like a normal person, with what he had in his hand. Exactly, he did his entire winter shopping. In fact, after leaving the door, he waited for a few minutes. He was probably waiting for our friends. When they did not come, he left."
Reacting to what happened, Özyürek said, "When we shared his photos and videos, we thought he would come back, but this person did not come. We also filed a complaint, and we are waiting, let's see. I mean, there was no need to take 10-15 items. I wish he had taken one or two, at least as many as he needed. He took too many."
