The driver, found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.43 promille during checks, was injured and taken to the hospital; an investigation into the incident has been initiated.

FELL INTO STAIRWELL

The accident occurred around 20:00 in Camikebir District. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 34 MPT 632, traveling towards Kasimpasa, first hit the metal bollards on the roadside due to driver Sadettin T. losing control of the steering wheel, then crashed into a taxi with license plate 34 TTG 87 driven by Isa K., which was moving in the same direction. Swerving from the impact, the car fell into the stairwell at the entrance of a building on the road. Upon the notification of bystanders, emergency medical and police teams arrived at the scene.

In the checks carried out by police teams, it was determined that the driver of the car that fell into the stairwell, Sadettin T., had 1.43 promil alcohol.
