As a result of heavy rainfall in Samsun Havza, Hacı Osman Creek overflowed; many vehicles were swept away by floodwaters. The moment a young person was stranded on a swept vehicle revealed the scale of the disaster.
Following the yellow-coded warning from the General Directorate of Meteorology in Samsun, the heavy downpour that started in the evening hours showed its effect especially in the Havza district.

Hacı Osman Stream overflowed in a short time, while streets and alleys in the district center were submerged. Many houses and workplaces were flooded, and dozens of vehicles were swept away by floodwaters.
