After the heavy rainfall that affected Istanbul, a vehicle became stranded in a puddle at the connection point of the TEM Highway in Kağıthane. The driver, who managed to exit the car on his own, ran away from the puddle that reached almost to his waist. The vehicle was rescued after the water was drained.

CAR TRAPPED IN WATER PUDDLE
In Kağıthane, on the street leading to Ankara direction of the TEM Highway in Seyrantepe Neighborhood, a vehicle was trapped in a water puddle formed due to the heavy rain. The driver managed to exit the car and ran away from the water puddle, which reached almost to his waist.
WATER RECEDING, VEHICLE RESCUED
Upon notification, police and General Directorate of Highways teams were dispatched to the area. Traffic teams closed the route to traffic. After the teams cleared the manholes, the trapped vehicle was rescued as the water receded. Traffic flow returned to normal.
