In a horrific accident that occurred in the evening hours in the Çayeli district of Rize, a pickup truck that went out of control rolled into a cliff. In the accident, Süleyman Sipahioğlu and his brother Selahattin Sipahioğlu, who were in the same vehicle, lost their lives, while Ömer Sipahioğlu was taken to the hospital injured.

PICKUP TRUCK ROLLED INTO CLIFF
The accident occurred in the evening hours in the Yavuzlar village of the Çayeli district. A pickup truck with license plate 06 BBH 403, whose driver has not yet been identified, rolled into a cliff after the driver lost control.
Upon reports from those nearby, AFAD, gendarmerie, and health teams were dispatched to the area. During the teams' inspection, it was determined that Süleyman Sipahioğlu and his brother Selahattin Sipahioğlu, who were in the pickup truck, had lost their lives.
LIFELESS BODIES OF THE TWO BROTHERS SENT TO MORGUE
Ömer Sipahioğlu, who was removed from the vehicle injured in the accident, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after initial medical intervention by health teams.
The bodies of the deceased brothers were sent to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy after the examination at the accident scene was completed.
Gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation to determine how the accident, whose driver has not yet been identified, occurred.
