The Ural ship, hit by a drone off the coast of Russia, reached Samsun Port with the body of Turkish sailor İlker Lazoğlu, who lost his life, and the wounded. The body was handed over to his family, and the wounded were taken to the hospital.
The RoRo ship named "Ural," which was attacked off the coast of Novorossiysk Port in Russia and struck by a drone after rescuing 18 sailors from the cargo ship "Necibe," arrived at Samsun Port, carrying the Turkish sailor who lost his life in the attack and the injured.
MARTYR FELL IN DRONE ATTACK ON SHIP
While attacks on commercial ships in the Black Sea continue, a drone attack was also carried out on the RoRo ship named "Ural," flying the Cameroon flag and belonging to a Turkish company, off the coast of Novorossiysk. In the attack, 1 Turkish sailor lost his life and 8 people were injured.
BODY DELIVERED TO FAMILY
The ship, carrying the body of the head cook İlker Lazoğlu, who lost his life during the attack, and the injured crew, reached the vicinity of Samsun and then docked at Samsun Port with the assistance of tugboats. After the ship arrived at the port, the body of İlker Lazoğlu, a father of 2 children, was delivered to his family members. The injured crew members were taken to hospitals in the city by ambulances.
