In the operation carried out in Manisa as part of the bribery and criminal organization investigation based in Istanbul, Şehzadeler A.Ş. General Manager Cem Yüzer and Anıl Demir were detained. It was learned that Cem Yüzer, one of the suspects, was the former official driver of former CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, and Anıl Demir served as the driver of Demirhan Gözaçan, who was arrested within the scope of the investigation.
The investigation into a bribery and organized crime syndicate conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has extended to Manisa. Within the scope of the investigation, the statements given under "effective remorse" by Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım, who was arrested and suspended from duty, along with MASAK reports and HTS records, triggered the operation.
DETENTIONS CONTINUE FOLLOWING ÖZKAN YALIM'S ALLEGATIONS
Arrested Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım stated in his testimony that he delivered 1 million TL to Demirhan Gözaçan in Denizli. New details have emerged in the in-depth investigations conducted into individuals identified as connected to Demirhan Gözaçan, who is arrested on charges of "bribery and organized crime membership."
FORMER CHAUFFEUR OF ÖZEL UNDER DETENTION
In the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention orders were issued for Şehzadeler A.Ş. General Manager Cem Yüzer and Demirhan Gözaçan's chauffeur Anıl Demir, who were determined to have acted in coordination with Gözaçan. During the operation, searches were conducted at the suspects' residences. Following the searches, Cem Yüzer and Anıl Demir were taken into custody and brought to the police station.
It has been reported that the investigation is being conducted in multiple directions.
