A 10-year-old 4th grade student in Konya was brutally beaten by his classmate's mother in a park after school following an argument. The father stated that his child was repeatedly forced to hit his own head and suffered bruises on his body, and he filed a complaint with a medical report. It was reported that the young child, whose psychological state deteriorated after the incident, has been unable to attend school.
It was learned that M.Ç.A., a 10-year-old 4th grade student at Piri Reis Primary School, came to the school after his family moved to Konya last year, and he argued with his classmate.
CAUGHT AND BEATEN IN THE PARK After the argument, the student's mother came to the school and beat M.Ç.A. while he was going to the park next to the school. After M.Ç.A. went home and told the incident, his family went to the hospital and obtained a medical report of assault. The father, Adem Aksoy, who reported the situation to the other family, later went to the police station and filed a complaint.
“SHE MADE THE CHILD TIE HIS OWN ARMS AND HIT HIS OWN HEAD REPEATEDLY” Describing the day of the incident, Aksoy, the father of 10-year-old M.Ç.A., said, 'We've been facing the same problems for about a year, and we haven't been able to make our child like school at all. The reason is that we didn't take the child seriously, thinking there might be arguments among kids. Afterwards, I also told the school administration about this situation, suggesting we change his class. On the day of the incident, the kids came to school, there was nothing at school; they didn't want the child in the social circle, saying 'you came later, don't play with us,' they kept trying to exclude him. That day, my son left school with a friend to go play in the park. The other party, the child's mother, directly attacked my child, saying things like 'How dare you speak badly to my son, how dare you hit him.' I asked my child, and he says 'I didn't do anything.' The woman made the child tie his own arms and hit his own head repeatedly. His arms are bruised, there are bruises on his back, and she also hit his feet, causing bruises there. Later, when the child came home crying, we asked 'what happened.' He said 'my friend's mother beat me.' I looked at the child; he was completely bruised. I took him to the hospital, got an assault report, and then filed a complaint,' he said.
“MY CHILD'S PSYCHOLOGY IS RUINED, I CANNOT SEND HIM TO SCHOOL AT ALL” Stating that the incident affected his child psychologically, Aksoy said, 'It's a very bad feeling; no one has the right to beat anyone else's child. They're just kids, things can happen. They fight today, make up tomorrow. They can play the next day. They are children after all; I have no issue with them. I expected an apology from the family. They didn't apologize. I called the other child's grandfather, told him, and explained the situation, informing them that the kids had an argument and something happened. They didn't call back either. They didn't apologize. So I went and filed a complaint. Since this same problem keeps happening, my child's psychology is ruined. I cannot send him to school at all,' he said.
